Arrive in Lijiang from Kunming, Chengdu or other cities. Free walking in the old town. Cafe, tea houses, old inn, old Naxi people, it is a mixture of modern and ancient in this Tea-horse exchanging station.
Day 2 Lijiang City Tour
In the morning we will drive to Jade Dragon Mountain. It protected the old town of Lijiang from the severe cold wind from Tibet plateau. Enjoying the beautiful snow mountain, you will also have a bird’s eye view of the abundant land. In the afternoon we will visit the Rock Joseph village. Rock Joseph used to take it as his beloved home.
Day 3 Lijiang / Shangri-la
Head for Tiger leaping gorge in the morning. You will enjoy one of the most deep valley in the world, and Jinsha river roared in the zigzagging valley. Arrive in Shangri-la in the late afternoon. Enjoy the peace of this wide land.
Day 4 Shangri-la Exploration
Today we will enjoy the beauty of Pudacuo national park. Bitahai lake, Suduhu lake, the virgin forest, grassland, etc, all will release us from social business.
Day 5 Shangri-la Exploration
Respected as mini-potala by local Tibetan, Songtanlin monastery will show us the profound theory of Tibetan Buddhism, and then we walk free in the old town. You can experience the life of Tibetan in village near by. Enjoy a Tibetan dinner in the evening.
Day 6 Shangri-la Departure
Today we will say goodbye to Shangri-la and fly to other cities as Kunming, Chengdu, Lhasa, etc.
